ARE SAFETY BARRIERS ON THE WAY?

011325 (WEAR) Pensacola Police say they are adding portable outdoor safety barriers, borrowed from the Panama City Police Department to their arsenal. The new devices will be used for major events, like parades, and festivals. As of right now, PPD must continue to borrow the barriers from PCPD. The city of Pensacola and Escambia County officials are looking at an opportunity to bring 54 units to the area. Having the barriers locally would eliminate the need to retrieve and return them for each event back to PCPD.
