Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A man wanted out of Arkansas was arrested with a stolen vehicle at local motel yesterday. Escambia deputies say they took Travis Nortier into custody at the Mayfair Hotel across from the Home Depot on Mobile Highway. The sheriff's office says the vehicle had been tracked to the motel -- where Nortier refused to come out of his room. Deputies forced entry and detained him. Nortier had mutliple warrants out of Arkansas, including kidnapping, aggravated battery, terroristic threatening, and theft of a vehicle. He remains in the Escambia County jail without bond and is pending extradition to face those charges.
