Ascension Sacred Heart Breaks Ground on New Perdido Key Emergency Room

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Ascension Sacred Heart broke ground on a new emergency room in Perdido Key this week. The ER facility will be located next to their Sacred Heart Health Center on Sorrento Road which currently provides primary care and other services. The project is estimated to cost around 15-million dollars. Hospital officials say the facility should be open by next fall.
