121124 (WEAR) A new scam is circulating across the state and NW Florida, targeting Florida Power and Light customers. Someone is posing as an FP&L worker and telling elderly customers that their power is about to be turned off unless they pay up. FP&L says they have received several calls about swindles targeting customers in Northwest Florida. FP&L says if you get a call and believe it is a scam, call law enforcement and report it.
