120524 (PNJ) Better health care is heading to Perdido Key. Ascension Sacred Heart broke ground at the site of a future freestanding emergency room next to the Ascension Health Center at 13137 Sorrento Road. That facility currently provides primary care, imaging, and other special patient care services. Ascension expects the new facility to open next fall.
