BEWARE, PENSACOLA NOW HAS RED LIGHT CAMERAS

120324 (PPD) The Pensacola Police Department has installed red light cameras at several intersections to monitor drivers running red lights: 9th and Bayou Blvd., 9th and Airport, 9th and Fairfield, 9th and Gregory, and Davis and Fairfield. PPD is providing a 30-day warning period before the cameras go into effect. During this time, drivers will receive warning notices in the mail for the violation. The fine for a red light violation is $158.00. The fine is non-criminal and doesn't add points to your driver's license. However, if you don't pay the fine on time, it could increase and potentially hurt your record.
