Broken Scale at Perdido Landfill Backs up Traffic at Exit

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Bad news for folks hauling a load to the dump.... Escambia County is reporting issues with the outbound scale at the Perdido Landfill -- this has apparently been causing some delays for customers entering and exiting the facility. The county says that drivers may have longer wait times during peak hours, and those needing to weigh out should make a U-turn back into the inbound lane before exiting. Scale attendants are on hand to assist with traffic flow. The county says repairs are underway, and further updates will be provided once the scale is operational again.
