Pensacola FL (NewsRadio 92-3) Developers broke ground on a new seven-story hotel in downtown Pensacola yesterday. The new hotel will be in the East Garden District and have shops, an event venue, and rooftop restaurant and bar. It'll be called Hotel Tristan -- taken from Tristan de Luna y Arellano, the Spanish explorer and conquistador who settled Pensacola in 1559.
