HIT AND RUN WEEKEND CRASH -- David Wayne
Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A 56-year-old man is in critical condition after a hit-and-run crash on Highway 29 over the weekend. The Florida Highway Patrol says they are looking for the motorist who fled the scene of that crash. It happened on Saturday night around 7:30 PM at 29 near Jaquelyn Way. Troopers say the victim walked into the southbound lanes of Highway 29 when he was hit by an unknown vehicle. The driver of that vehicle left the scene without stopping. FHP is asking for anyone with information to contact them.
