Florida Losing Younger Residents

Pensacola FL (NewsRadio 92-3) A new report shows Florida is losing a lot of its young professionals. According to the latest migration report from the Florida Chamber of Commerce, younger residents are leaving the state in "significant numbers," particularly those aged 20 to 29. Increased housing costs and limited job opportunities for early-career professionals are cited as factors. Overall, the report says Florida saw an inflow of nearly 637-thousand people from other states last year, the highest in the nation. However, nearly 511-thousand residents left Florida for another state, the largest outflow the state has seen.
