Pensacola FL (NewsRadio 92-3) Florida's FWC is weighing options for a statewide black bear hunt. Officials say the number of bears in the state has grown significantly in the last 25 years, and they say they are now overpopulated in some parts of the state. If a hunt were approved, it would be the first since 2015. That hunt was shut down after two days when the limit of 320 bears was reached.
