Giant Sperm Whale Washes Ashore in Alabama

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A 40-foot sperm whale washed ashore in Fort Morgan over the weekend. The massive whale was found on Sunday morning. Alabama officials say it has been removed from the beach and tests will be done to determine its cause of death. The animal will be buried on the beach soon. The whale's estimated weight is around 30-thousand pounds.
