GL 52 SERIES ON PENSACOLA BAY WRAPS UP

The GL52s were back in Pensacola for the Southern Showdown 2025! The GL 52's are high performace 52-foot racing sailboats with black sails, originally designed for long-distance races but now participate in shorter, more frequent races, including the four day series just concluded here on Pensacola bay. The organizers are thanking the city of Pensacola for hosting the competition and delivering incredible racing conditions for the fleet. Following this event, boats are splitting. Many will head north to the Great Lakes for a summer series. Others are heading back to Newport, Rhode Island, or even overseas.
