House Democrats to Force Vote on Gaetz Ethics Report

(Washington, DC) -- House Democrats are forcing a floor vote this week aimed at getting the Matt Gaetz ethics report released. Illinois Representative Sean Casten introduced a resolution Tuesday that would force the release of the report. Gaetz was picked by President-elect Trump to be the next attorney general, but withdrew his name from consideration last month. The House Ethics Committee probe looked into allegations of sexual misconduct and drug use by Gaetz. The resolution is "privileged" so it must be brought to the floor within two days for a vote.
