INVESTIGATION INTO RECENT SHOOTINGS CONTINUES

The investigation continues after several recent shootings in Escambia County that authorities believe to be connected. Sheriff Chip Simmons says some of the same names have come up between a recent drive-by on Diego Circle and the ambush-style triple homicide in West Pensacola a few weeks ago. Simmons says investigators feared that a retaliatory shooting could happen when witnesses didn't provide much information after the first shooting incident several weeks ago. Three people were shot at the home on Diego Circle, but they were all expected to be ok. Simmons says they are hoping someone will come forward with information on the suspects in the case.
