The Navy Chief Petty Officer convicted of murdering her husband in Gulf Breeze has filed an appeal asking the court to overturn her life sentence. Attorneys for Bree Kuhn filed a notice to appeal the courts judgement and the sentence she received last month. Kuhn also issued a statement of judicial acts to be reviewed. The court acknowledged the appeal last week. Kuhn was sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of shooting her husband multiple times while he was on the phone with a 911 dispatcher.
