An Escambia County man is facing charges for allegedly damaging statues at a local church. 47-year-old Robert Armstrong is charged with criminal mischief and remains in the Escambia County jail. He's accused of pushing over a concrete statue of Jesus and also damaging a statue of an angel at the Little Flower Catholic Church. Volunteers are working to clean up the church garden and the broken statue will have to undergo repairs. Armstrong is charged with criminal mischief and remains in the Escambia County jail on 25-hudnred dollars bond.
