021425 (OKALOOSA COUNTY) The moving day has finally arrived for the S.S. United States. Okaloosa tourism officials confirm they have completed the necessary safety requirements to move the retired ocean liner from the current berth at the Port of Philadelphia's Pier 82 to Pier 80. That move is scheduled for Saturday, February 15. Next Monday, the ship will be towed down the Delaware River and into the Atlantic Ocean, for the trip to the Gulf Coast.
