111424 (NewsRadio923) A new Chief Executive Officer is headed for Florida West. Chris Plate' succeeds Brian Hilson, who departed in July. Rick Byars of Florida Power & Light has been serving as interim CEO. Florida West Board Chair David Bear says, "Plate's proven track record will be a pivotal enhancement in attracting industrial and commercial investments." Plate' assumes the CEO role on December 16.
