NWS UPDATING ADVISORIES PROCESS

030625 (NWS) The National Weather Service is updating the way advisories are issued for potential tropical cyclones. NWS will now issue advisories up to 72 hours before any impacts begin. Previously, the earliest they would issue advisories was 48 hours in advance.
