Oklahoma Man Charged With Making Bomb Threat over SS United States

Okaloosa County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- An Oklahoma man was apparently pretty unhappy about the future of the SS United States as an articficial reef.... officials say Trey Roots is facing charges for making a bomb threat after Okaloosa County purchased the vessel. Roots lives in Cherokee, Oklahoma and deputies say he didn't appear to have bomb making materials, and he was never in Okaloosa County. Meanwhile, the SS United States continues preparations for it's eventual sinking off the Destin coast. Okaloosa County officials believe it will have a huge economic impact once it's sunk.
