A lot of drugs are off the streets after a years-long investigation into a drug ring in Santa Rosa County resulted in 8 arrests. Sheriff Bob Johnson held a press conference yesterday. Two men who are allegedly at the top of the ring, 41-year-old David "Preacher" Kennedy and 52-year-old Roosevelt "Tawn" Jones face federal drug conspiracy charges. Six other men face various state charges ranging from drug possession to drug trafficking. Officials say in addition to the drugs, they seized 65-thousand dollars in drug money and 8 guns.
