A huge resurfacing project in Escambia County will begin next month. The work will be on Pine Forest Road from Mobile Highway to Blue Angel Parkway. The project is estimated at $2.34 million dollars and will include resurfacing the road, sidewalk and crosswalk improvement including ADA upgrades, traffic light upgrades, and new signage and pavement markings. There will be some nightime lane closures between 8 pm and 6 am. The work should be done by mid 2025.
