010125 (NewsRadio923) The Pensacola Beach Polar Bear Plunge Wednesday afternoon attracted hundreds of dippers and spectators at the Paradise Bar & Grill on the Santa Rosa Sound. Many of the attendees, dressed in costume, migrated to the island to participate in this long local tradition. Other Polar Bear locations--two sites in Navarre; Windjammers on the Pier and Juana's Pagodas, and on Perdido Key, the Flora-Bama Polar Bear Dip, the largest dive on the Gulf Coast.
