SANTA ROSA TO VOTE ON DONATING DRUG HOUSE LOT TO HABITAT -- David Wayne
Santa Rosa County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The site of a former drug house in Santa Rosa County might be used to build a new affordable home for Habitat for Humanity. The property on Congress Street in Gulf Breeze had been a problem home for the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office -- deputies had been called to the home nearly 80 times. The property was seized and the home torn down last September. Santa Rosa County Commissioners will vote on donating the land to Habitat for Humanity tomorrow. If approved, the organization would build a new affordable home that would then be sold to an area family in need.
