012725 (PNJ) Santa Rosa District Schools has been selected as one of only five Florida Purple Star School Districts. The designation recognizes school districts that meet the unique needs of military families, help military-connected students navigate challenges, and provide resources to military students transitioning to a new school. Bay, Brevard, Citrus, and Okaloosa counties were also in the first group of schools to earn the Purple Star School District designation among Florida's 67 school districts.
