SANTA ROSA SHERIFF ON DOJ'S UVALDE SHOOTING REPORT

Last week the U.S. Department of Justice released a scathing report on the law enforcement response to the Uvalde school shooting in Texas back in May of 2022.. Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson tells Newsradio while what happened in Uvalde is tragic, there's nothing for his department to learn from the incident as they would respond much differently. Johnson says that unfortunately a lot of people get into law enforcement not understanding the responsibility it involves -- which could include putting yourself in front of a bullet for someone that you don't know.
