Walton County FL (NewsRadio 92-3) The Walton County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit is searching today for a missing boater on the Choctawhatchee Bay. Yesterday evening, a resident reported a missing boater in the bay. The subject apparently launched a boat from Nicks on the Bay and called his wife for help, according to the sheriff's office. The boat was located in the bay; however, the boater has not been located. The investigation has been turned over to FWC and Coast Guard as a boating incident. The Walton County Sheriff's Office Marine Unit is back out on the water today helping aid in the search.
