The Countdown is on to the 2024 Homecoming Air Show

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The countdown to the NAS Pensacola Homecoming Airshow continues -- and you can see both the Blues and the Air Force Thunderbirds in the sky today. They'll be doing that Super Delta formation flyover of the area at 11:30 this morning. NAS Pensacola said the best place to see that would be either downtown around Palafox Street or on Pensacola Beach or Perdido Key. NAS Pensacola is closed to the public tomorrow as they'll have STEM students onboard to watch the practice airshow and get a special tour at the Naval Air Museum. The Homecoming Air Show happens on Friday and Saturday and they're expecting big crowds -- they'll have both gates open on both days, remember you can't bring coolers, weapons, or umbreallas. You can bring a chair as it'll likely be a long day with a lot of performances!
