120424 (WEAR) Over at the United Way of West Florida, is getting pretty busy this time of year. The holidays increase the number of calls to their 2-1-1 hotline. The hotline is key to helping people with anything from paying a bill to putting food on the table and even domestic violence intervention. If you are looking for further help, call 2-1-1 to receive an updated list of local organizations who can help. Mary Zaledonis, Uniet Way VP of Impact Services says her best advice to anyone in need is to call the hotline as soon as possible rather than waiting to get help.
