WALKER WILSON FILES FOR DISTRICT 4 COMMISSIONER

There's another name in the running to be the long-term replacement for District 4 Commissioner. Walker Wilson has pre-filed to run for the seat in November, joining fellow Republicans Ashlee Hofberger and Buck Mitchell, along with Democratic candidate Ron Helms. After Governor Ron DeSantis appointed Robert Bender to take over as Escambia County Supervisor of Elections, both Wilson and Mitchell applied to be the temporary appointment- So far, DeSantis has not named anyone. Wilson is currently executive director of the Pensacola Downtown Improvement Board.
