022025 (PNJ) Pensacola's long-empty Technology Park, across from the Bay Center, is finally receiving interest from potential companies. Chris Plates', Florida West Chief Executive Officer, says the park has been empty since 2012. However, the anticipated technology center never materialized and the expected commitment of approximately 370 new jobs with an average wage of $50,000, and $20 million in private sector investment just didn't happen.
